“Cabana do Mar is set in the most pristine, picturesque setting imaginable! It occupies pride of place on the coast of Azenhas do Mar, clinging to the cliffs with an absolutely stunning and unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean. Lounging in the sun on the terrace or relaxing in the hot tub under the stars, you have to pinch yourself to be sure the property is real, not some magical dream.”
Manel greeted us warmly upon our arrival. He is the most gracious and thoughtful host! He showed us around the property and gave detailed instructions about how everything worked. The home is appointed beautifully and retains all of its original charm, which added that special je ne sais quoi to our stay. Manel told us all about the area and gave wonderful recommendations for restaurants, markets, and sights we should see. He also was available on a moment’s notice throughout our stay, even giving advice and recommendations via text when we spent a day in Lisbon.

“Breathtaking location. We bought a gift book and Cabana do Mar was in it!!! Just truly special. We loved enjoying the sunset on the terrace every night in the hammock or the jacuzzi. Close to many great destinations such as Sintra and Palace de Pena but also beaches and restaurants within a walking distance. The house has a lot of charm and everything you need. Our children loved it too. Host incredibly communicative and hospitable. We cannot wait to go back. We are so thankful that we found it!”

We were there in late November and had warm sunny days. When the sun is shining, it is glorious, but bring sweaters for those cloudy windy days. Numerous day trips in the area”
